The Fallout Script Extender, or FOSE for short, is a modder's resource that expands the scripting capabilities of Fallout 3. It does so without modifying the Fallout3.exe or the G.E.C.K. files on disk, so there are no permanent side effects.
Sorry, but we do not allow mirroring of either OBSE or FOSE. Having multiple download locations isn't needed as the file is extremely small, and having one central location helps build trust with users.
The statement describing FOSE as a modder's resource has no connection with redistribution rights, it is mainly to help describe what the tool does in a simple way (since it doesn't do anything by itself). The readme covers this further down:
* Can I include FOSE as part of a mod pack or otherwise rehost the files?
- No. Providing a link to
http://fose.silverlock.org/ is the suggested method. Exceptions may be given under applicable circumstances; contact us at the email address below.
Exceptions would be for something like a large game overhaul that used its own installer.
However, a direct link to
http://obse.silverlock.org or
http://obse.silverlock.org/download/obse_0018.zip or something similar is fine.
